Holding the Tenth Commemoration of Master Jalil Ziapour at Barg Gallery

Master Jalil Ziapour – Father of Modern Iranian Painting

According to the visual arts bi-weekly “Tandis” dated 6 October 2009, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the passing of Master Jalil Ziapour, the memory of this pioneering artist will be honored. Barg Gallery, the Tehran Municipality Beautification Organization, and Tandis publication have dedicated the eighth art research session to the commemoration of Master Ziapour. This ceremony, which will be accompanied by the display of documents related to his life and photographs, will be held on Tuesday, 10 November, from 15:00 to 18:00 at Barg Gallery, and the speakers are: Parviz Kalantari and Touka Maleki.
