This reference book presents a detailed archaeological and formal analysis of the garments worn by Iranian men and women during the pre-Islamic era. Through documented studies of rock reliefs, statues, coins, and discovered metal vessels, the author reconstructs and explains the evolution and characteristics of Iranian attire from the Median, Achaemenid, and Parthian eras to the end of the Sasanian Empire.
